It is of global significance, we believe, the first Earth Hospice but not the last… may there be one in every community in the world! 

Earth Hospice is both a place and a concept. The place here is on Ynys Môn (Anglesey) which is one of the spiritual power places in Europe, the seat of the Druids and of indigenous spirituality in the British Isles. The goddess Mona gives her name to the island, which is known in Welsh as Môn Mam Cymru, Mona, mother of Wales. To have an Earth Hospice here would be to seed the gentle revolution along the leylines to the World. 

This revolution is one of Grassroots care of the Dying and those in Grief. A non-medical hospice, a Hearth, a place of gathering, respite and renewal. Built on permaculture principles and run in a non-hierachical way. Yes we will have respite and retreat rooms where people may come to die if they wish (and receive medical care from district nurses and GP if they wish) but it is as much a place of hospitality, shelter and mutuality for the living. 

To support this project do invest in a community share, and then also please share with your networks with enthusiasm. There is a very short timescale on this community share offer as there is already a very cheeky low offer in on the property so time is of the essence to save this building for community benefit – the local community and the global one too!
